Brief Biography (English)
Ayansina Ayangbenro is an Environmental Microbiologist. He holds a PhD degree in Biology from North-West University, South Africa. He specializes in bioremediation of pollutants: metal(loid), hydrocarbon, pesticides, and emerging pollutants in the environment; biotechnological applications of microorganisms and their products. He is an Open Science Advocate and its adoption in publishing. He is a TWAS-NRF (2016) doctoral fellow. He became involved with The Carpentries in 2017 and later became a certified instructor in 2019 (teaching R Ecology lessons).
