Brief Biography (English)
Dr Marcellin Atemkeng is a Researcher with more than 5 years' experience in high-bandwidth signal processing and data science with a strong background in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence (machine learning and deep learning), and Radio Astronomy.
He is currently developing new dimensional reduction and deep learning techniques for radio interferometric/SKA Big Data. His past work has focused on building mathematical models and algorithms for position-dependent deconvolution in radio interferometry, and lossy compression software for radio astronomy high-bandwidth Big Data.
Dr Atemkeng is the Author of numerous peer-reviewed journals and conference manuscripts.
