Brief Biography (English)

Dr Adedeji Aremu is an experienced professional in mechanical engineering with expertise in 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies. Dr Aremu was a scholar at Loughborough University where he graduated with a PhD in mechanical engineering. He contributed to the development of structural design strategies for 3D printed parts. He was also a scholar at Warwick Manufacturing Group, a prestigious manufacturing institute at the University of Warwick, benefiting from the Sub-Saharan postgraduate scholarship. As a research fellow at Nottingham University, Dr Aremu collaborated with several industrial partners on Innovate UK projects. Dr Aremu has presented his work at client companies and international conferences especially the prestigious solid free form conference that holds annually at Austin, Texas; the society of experimental mechanics at costa mesa, California, and Orlando, Florida. Dr Aremu is currently a Lecturer at Coventry University, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering design and supervising projects that engage aspects of artificial intelligence for automotive and mechanical design. Dr Aremu is hoping to collaborate in a quest to use manufacturing technologies to alleviate poverty in Africa. Especially on problems associated with affordable medical equipment, advanced agricultural machineries, and sustainable power generation.
