Dr Monia Ardhaoui, PhD, is a researcher at the Anatomical Pathology Department and the Laboratory of Molecular Epidemiology and Experimental Pathology at the Pasteur Institute of Tunis (Institut Pasteur de Tunis). She has multidisciplinary research skills on Molecular Biology, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics. Her research interests include but are not limited to the area of infectious diseases and epidemiology. Her current research activities are devoted to the study of the molecular epidemiology of Human papillomavirus (HPV) and its implication in cervical lesions, particularly in the Tunisian population. With the recent availability of high throughput sequencing technologies, her research expertise have shifted to the study of HPV genome structure and its impact in vaccination in order to provide adequate vaccination solution for Tunisian population. In 2018 she was nominated as member of the Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement (PEER) & COACh Women in Science Mentoring Program.
Dr Ardhaoui has co-authored different articles in peer –reviewed, indexed journals and numerous communications in international conferences.
