Professor Stephen Oluwaseun Amoo is currently a Principal Researcher at the Agricultural Research Council - Vegetables, Industrial and Medicinal Plants in South Africa, and an Extraordinary Professor in the Unit for Environmental Sciences and Management, North-West University, South Africa. He has been leading the Medicinal Plant Research at the Agricultural Research Council in South Africa since 2014. As an indication of his scientific productivity, he has authored/co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles with close to 3000 citations on google scholar. He has also mentored/supervised several postdoctoral fellows, PhD and MSc students to completion. In addition to serving as an Associate Editor for the South African Journal of Botany, he serves on the editorial boards of several other international journals and regularly conducts peer-review for several journals. Prof Amoo is rated as an Established Scientist by the National Research Foundation (NRF), South Africa.
