Dr Negedu Ameji is n erudite scholar and researcher with interest in avian infectious diseases, zoonosis, avian immunology and vaccinology, avian wildlife biodiversity and conservation. Presently, studying the effects of ascorbic acid, levamisole and plant extracts on the immune responses of chicks to Newcastle disease vaccination. Dr Ameji has well over 20 years of experience in clinical practice, teaching, epidemiological and laboratory researches. I have supervised a number of undergraduate students research projects and as well served as mentors to a couple others in the life sciences with a number of collaborative research works.
