- Dr Suleiman Dan Allison attended University of Ilorin for his first degree where he graduated with BSc (Microbiology) in 1989. He also did his Master's degree at University of Lagos, Nigeria with MSc,in Microbiology in 1995. He later proceeded to Universiti Putra, Malaysia for PhD, and graduated with PhD, Industrial Biotechnology in 2022. He also did a Post graduate diploma at Lagos State University with PGD in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry in 1999.
Dr Allison worked as classroom teacher (Chemistry) with Lagos state Teaching service commission from 1996-2026. He later join Moddibo Adam University as an Assistant lecturer in 2006 in the department of Food Science and Technology and rose to become a Senior lecturer in 2022.
Dr Allison was Head of department of Food Science between 2010 and 2012. He is presently the Post Graduate Coordinator of the department since 2024. He has published many reasarch papers in the areas of Microbiology, Biotechnology and Food Science. A member of America society for Microbioloy, and member of Nigeria society of Science and Technology. His areas of research interest include, food and industrial microbiology, Environmental microbiology and public health and Biotechnology, Molecular biology and grneti engineering etc. His expertise include cloning and genetic engineering, pcr, western blot and protein enginnring, bioremidiation, fermentation processes etc.
