Professor Alabadan graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (1989, BEng. Agricultural Engineering); the University of Ibadan, Ibadan (1992, MSc, Agricultural Engineering); the Federal University of Technology, Minna (1997, PDG Computer Science) and the University of Ibadan (2002, PhD, Agricultural Engineering).
He was in the Research Institute, Volcanic Campus, Bet Dagan, Israel in 2007 and MASHAV Training Institute, Shefayim, Israel in 2015 sponsored by MASHAV of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State of Israel. He is a member of the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), a Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registered Engineer, and a certified German Technical Cooperation/Competency-Based Economies for the Formation of Enterprise international trainer.
He was employed by the Federal University of Technology, Minna in 1991 and was promoted Professor in 2009. He joined the Federal University Oye-Ekiti in 2014. He is a dexterous academician and consultant with a keen interest in Structures and Environment, Environmental Issues, and Ergonomics. He is a committed researcher who has published extensively in reputable journals, supervised and examined several undergraduate, Masters’ and Doctoral students in various Universities. He served in several administrative appointments and honored as the Otun Bobagunwa of Epinmi-Akoko land.
