Brief Biography (English)

Dr. Alaba is currently a lecturer/researcher at the Animal Physiology and Bioclimatology Unit, Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a B. Agric. (Hons. in Animal Production and Health, 2000) degree from the then University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and now Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta (FUNNAB), Nigeria. His Postgraduate degrees MSc and PhD (Animal Physiology) were obtained in the Department of Animal Science, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently coordinating the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Programme in the Department of Animal Science. Alaba’s research areas are Reproductive, nutritional, and environmental physiology, as molecular, cell, and developmental biology. His major goal is to identify and present knowledge from a problem-solving approach with impactful, collaborative, and sustainable research with relevance to the national and global livestock development.
