Dr Timothy Denen Akpenpuun holds Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from the prestigious University of Ibadan in Nigeria with a specialty in Farm Structures and Environmental Control. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. His research interests are controlled environment agriculture (CEA), greenhouse climate simulation, greenhouse energy simulation, agricultural waste management, and agro-meteorology. Dr Akpenpuun is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a cooperate member of Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE) and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). Dr Akpenpuun has a number of articles published in Science Citation Index (SCI) journals.
