Akinyemi

Dr. Akinyemi is a senior demographer who has been actively working in policy and developmental issues in Nigeria since 1998. He brings 21 years of professional experience leading population & health research and analysis, including political economy analysis, in Nigeria and neighboring countries. He has been a faculty member at the Department of Demography and Social Statistics at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria since 2001. He has been a visiting researcher with many universities including, the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, Johns Hopkins Universit,y, Maryland, U.S.A, African Population and Health Research Centre, Nairobi Kenya, Rostock Demographic Institute, Germany and Harvard University, Boston, U.S.A.
