Babatunde Opeoluwa Akinkunmi is a Reader in the Dept. of Computer Science, University of Ibadan. He earned a BSc (Honours) degree in Computer Science in 1986, a Masters degree in Physics (Instrumentation) in 1988, and a PhD in Computer Science in 2005. His current research interests include Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Logic, and Answer set Programming and Normative Multi-Agent Systems. He has authored over 50 articles in these and other areas. He has served as Acting Head of Department of Computer Science at the University of Ibadan, on two occasions: 2008-2010 and 2012-2014. He was a former fellow of the United Nations University's (now defunct) International Institute for Software Technology in 1999 and was a University Development Fellow at the National University of Singapore under the auspices of the same Institute. He is also a member of the Nigerian Computer Society.
