Brief Biography (English)
Dr Tarek Ahmed is highly analytical, initiative and organised. Demonstrated ability to forecast needs, make recommendations, and execute effective multidisciplinary solutions. Extremely adaptable professional vaccines' designer and developer. Experienced project manager with proven ability to systematically address variable problems, to beat tight deadlines and to build prolific collaborations. Major research interests include epidemiology of infectious diseases, epitopes mapping and bioinformatics, molecular biology, vaccine biotechnology and diagnostic microbiology. He holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Alexandria University, Egypt.
