Dr Joseph Evans Agolla is a Senior Lecturer and leading researcher in the field of Business, Management, and Innovation. Dr Agolla has published extensively independently as an author and co-author of over 30 papers in highly regarded, peer-reviewed journals (NRFSA- accredited journals). Dr Agolla earned PhD in Business Management from the North-West University, South Africa. He is also an alumna of University of Allahabad and Utkal University, respectively. Dr. Agolla brings with him both administrative experience as an academic HOD. Dr Agolla is Senior Lecturer and Head of the Department of Management at the Botswana University Open University (BOU). Prior to joining Botswana University Open University (BOU), Dr Agolla lectured at the University of Botswana for eight years. His research interests pertain to organisation innovation, Industry 4.0 revolution, organisation creativity, Human capital, public sector, green technologies, university-industry interface, and entrepreneurship. Some of his publications include Insights into Kenya’s Public Sector Innovation: The Case of Managers; A Structural Equation Modelling of Innovation in Public Sector Organisations; An Empirical Investigation into Innovation Drivers and Barriers in Public Sector Organisations and Public Sector Innovation Drivers: a Process Model and book Chapter, “Human Capital in Industry 4.0 Revolution”, and many others. Agolla is also a regular reviewer with the following journals: International Journal of Innovation Science, International Journal of Public Sector Management, European Journal of Innovation Management, Quality Assurance in Education, and Management Decision, African Journal of Business and Economics Research these are all Emerald publication journals.
