Dr Damilola Taiye Agbalajobi is a Political Scientist at the Department of Political Sciences, Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. Her area of research interest is Politics of Development, Gender, and International Relations with over 14 years’ experience. She has ongoing research on nude protests as part of an evolving social movement action in Nigeria. The centrality of her study consists partly in the plan to interrogate this much-marginalized social act within the broader context of processes directed at deepening democracy and expanding the boundaries of development in Nigeria. She has worked with a couple of multinationals Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) to help in collecting both primary and secondary data. She has been able to deliver and carry out policy engaged research using the skills she acquired at various methodology workshops including the Political Economy Analysis. In addition, she has a keen interest in multi-method research designs having gone through extensive training and engaging that in some ongoing research. Her experience as a member of the International Development Peer Review College Team has exposed her to the ethics of research and professionalism which she has always brought on board while carrying out various research activities. She also has excellent command of spoken and written English.
