Brief Biography (English)

Frederick Adzitey is an Associate Professor and a Lecturer at the Department of Veterinary Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University for Development Studies (UDS), Ghana.

He holds a BSc in Agriculture Technology, an MSc in Meat Science and Technology, a PhD in Food Safety, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

Prof Adzitey's Scientific Research covers a broad range of topics including Animal and Meat Science, isolation, identification, and control of foodborne/waterborne pathogens in one health context, Antibiotic resistance, and molecular characterization of foodborne/waterborne pathogens in one health context. He became a member of TWAS in 2015.
