Prof Oluyomi Stephen Adeyemi is a life scientist with an emphasis on Medicinal Biochemistry, Toxicology, Nanomedicine, and Infectious Diseases. Currently, he is a Faculty member in the Department of Biochemistry, Landmark University, Nigeria. As an erudite scholar and a passionate academic mentor, Prof Adeyemi accords significance to impacting lives through teaching, research, and community service. He is always enthusiastic and fervent about the training of students to become graduate entrepreneurial and innovative thinkers capable of developing the next great idea in order to create opportunities for others. He encourages and supports academic strategies, that could help establish a strong reputation for excellence and quality academic mentorship by emphasizing the teaching of students to think rather than to just pass the examinations. Prof Adeyemi has published books, chapters in books as well as several research articles. He is a recipient of several awards and fellowships, and he enjoys the membership of several professional societies. He is an expert reviewer for several grant-awarding bodies as well as many academic journals. In addition, Prof Adeyemi serves on the editorial board of several academic journals. For extracurricular activities, Prof Adeyemi engages in educational and church outreaches and he likes to play the chess game.
