Dr Modupeade Adetunji is a Food Mycotoxicologist/Food Safety expert known for her immense contribution to research related to Food Safety, specifically Mycotoxins in foods and nuts. She is currently the Ag. Dean of the Faculty of Basic Medical and Applied Sciences, Trinity University, Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria.
Dr Adetunji just concluded a 3-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the North-West University, South Africa, in June 2020. She is currently a Lecturer at the Department of Biological Sciences, Trinity University, Lagos, Nigeria.
Her contributions to research in Food Safety and Mycotoxins spans six years and the findings of her research work are Published in reputable international Journals. Dr Adetunji is a Member of reputable Scientific bodies, such as the Society for Applied Microbiology (SfAM), American Society for Microbiology (ASM), Mycotoxicology Society of Nigeria (MSN), Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology (NIFST), among others.
She has good Leadership skills and has contributed immensely to various Community Development Projects in Nigeria. Dr Adetunji has Supervised and Co-Supervised many undergraduate and Post Graduate students. She is a young Researcher who is open to new innovation in her field and seeking collaborations within and outside Africa for a giant stride in her career pursuit.
