Dr. Timothy Adekanye obtained BEng, MEng, and PhD in Agricultural Engineering from University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, College of Science and Engineering, Landmark University, Omu Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria. He is researching and writing on development of assorted Agricultural Machinery and Equipment with improved performance evaluation using locally available materials for the advancement of technological innovations values of Nigeria. His main areas of research are Agricultural Mechanization, Soil and Tillage, Conservation Agriculture, crop processing and efficient financing of agricultural enterprises. Dr. Adekanye is a COREN registered Engineer and a member of Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), International Soil Tillage Research Organization (ISTRO) and American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE). He is married and blessed with children.
