Oluwafemi Adebo is an Associate Professor and Researcher in the Food Technology/Food Science domain at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) South Africa. He received both his Masters and Doctoral degrees also from UJ. Over the years, he has been involved with teaching Food Science/Technology related modules in the institution as well as research activities. Adebo is passionate about the science of food, particularly related to the improvement of traditional processes to address hunger, malnutrition, and finding solutions to the challenges of food insecurity. He has authored/co-authored over 80 high impact journal publications and book chapters. Adebo has attracted grants and continuously involved with Teaching as well as Masters, Doctoral, and Post-Doctoral research supervision. He is a regular volunteer for activities that promote the food science and technology profession and an active member of different professional organizations.
