Dr. Bashir Adelodun is a Lecturer in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Master of Engineering degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He also received his PhD degree in Agricultural Civil Engineering from Kyungpook National University, Daegu, South Korea. He has over 8 years of experience in both teaching and research. Prior to joining the services of the University of Ilorin in 2017, Engr. Adelodun worked for 5 years in Kwara State Teaching Service Commission as an Education Officer and had a brief stint as an Executive Assistant with Kwara State Internal Revenue Service, Ilorin, Nigeria. His research interests include sustainable food systems, water resources management, hydrological modeling and simulation, water quality and wastewater treatment, water-food-energy nexus, soil remediation and environmental pollution, water footprint and virtual water analysis, and sustainable production and consumption. Engr. Adelodun has published many articles on these subjects in top-ranking international journals. He has also served and still serving as a Research Arbitrator for several international journal outlets, including Sustainable Cities and Society; Journal of Cleaner Production; Environmental Research; Science of the Total Environment; African Journal of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Development; Scientific Africa; Environmental Engineering Research; International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology; International Journal of Energy and Water Resources. Engr. Adelodun is open to collaborating on novel research on the above subjects.
