Dr Chibueze Godwin Achi, is a Research Fellow at the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, Tshwane University of Technology, Pretoria South Africa. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. He holds a Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Agricultural Engineering, a Master of Science (MSc) in Civil Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), in Civil Engineering. His current research activities are in Public Health and Environmental Engineering. He is a recipient of the Fulbright Visiting Research Scholarship at University of Maryland College Park, United States of America. He has over 25 publications including conference proceedings. He has four (4) Patents and has presented research papers at national and international conferences. Dr Achi is a registered Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and a member of Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers (NIEE). He is currently the Assistant General Secretary, Nigeria Network for Awareness and Action for Environmental Health.
