Dr. O. J. Abimbola obtained his BSc (Physics) at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Nigeria in the year 2000 and thereafter proceeded to serve Nigeria in the 2000/2001 NYSC program in the Plateau State of Nigeria, he did his primary assignment at the Calvary Science College, Rock-Haven (a private secondary school) in Jos. After the NYSC program, he continued working at the secondary school and in the same period undergoing his Master's study in Physics at the University of Jos where he graduated in the year 2006 with an MSc degree in Applied Physics. In January 2007, Dr. Abimbola joined the service of Bauchi State Government at the College of Education, Azare as a lecturer of Physics, he worked there for six and a half years. While at the College of Education he started his PhD program at the University of Ilorin in the year 2011. Dr Abimbola joined the Federal University of Lafia in the year 2014 as Lecturer II and completed his PhD program in the year 2017 with a PhD degree conferred on him by the University of Ilorin in the year 2018. Dr Abimbola has published numerous scientific articles in the field of Atmospheric Physics.
