Dr. Abdulsalam holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, Braamfontein. His primary research focus on Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage (e.g., batteries, supercapacitors, hydrogen production); Design, synthesis, and characterization of porous materials for energy and gas (methane and hydrogen) storage applications, separation processes and advance water treatment; Artificial Intelligence in Chemical Engineering.
