Brief Biography (English)
Ms Samirah Abdu-Aguye is a Lecturer and Researcher currently affiliated with the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. She does Research within the fields of pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy and pharmacy education. Her Research deals with issues affecting the real-world usage of drugs by patients and how various factors e.g. patients, health professionals and even health systems can influence the proper use of medicines. Ms Abdu-Aguye's ultimate aim is to optimize medication use within Nigeria and improve various types of treatment outcomes for patients, while minimizing the associated harms of drug therapy.
