Participate in Africa-wide survey on research integrity training

We invite researchers and research support professionals across Africa to participate in an international survey on research integrity and good research practice training.

Since 2019, Nature and Springer Nature have conducted national surveys in Australia, the USA, the UK, India, Japan, China, and Brazil to understand:

  • the availability and scale of research integrity training,
  • how such training is delivered, and
  • how well it meets researchers’ needs.

A recent comparative white paper highlighted a significant gap: no African countries were represented. This Africa-wide survey seeks to address that gap and ensure African perspectives are included in global discussions on responsible research practices.

The survey aims to:

  • assess the reach and quality of research integrity training in Africa,
  • identify priority topics and gaps, and
  • inform future capacity-building efforts.

Participation is voluntary, anonymous, and open to researchers across disciplines, sectors, and career stages. We kindly ask institutions and networks to share this call widely to support broad participation.
